A glance at the history of glassmaking reveals that since the 1600’s Glassmakers have sought inspiration from the colours, texture, rhythms and patterns of textiles.
Join us to create beautiful woven textile designs in glass. This very effective technique, mastered by Ian Dixon, is taught over a two day course which will cover design, colour selection, cutting and layout. Your design will then be slumped so that you have two stunning, finished pieces to take home. The only skills requirement is that you can confidently cut glass, Ian will guide you through the rest.
To ensure you gain the most from the course, numbers are limited. Places will be confirmed with a required $150 non-refundable deposit or the place may be given to the next in queue. The course must be paid in full 14 days prior to course commencement.
Sincere efforts are made to contact all students for a reminder however ultimately the responsibility for scheduling time to attend the class remains with the student. As per our terms and conditions deposits for unattended classes are non-refundable
