This course is run by John Dornan, an experienced Leadlighter, with over twenty years experience. This very comprehensive course which will allow students to produce a high standard of work & the confidence to continue alone. The aim of the course is to design & manufacture a traditional leadlight panel.

The course will run on Saturday and Sunday from 9.30am to 5pm each day.

Areas covered include: Safety and health aspects of glass work, Glass cutting techniques, Use of art glass and selection principles and Designing for leadlights

Manufacturing Techniques include: Preparing cartoons, Selecting and cutting glass, Leading panels & Soldering techniques and Cementing and Finishing Process.

Cost includes a Fundamentals of Leadlighting book, Glass and Lead.

Students will need to supply or purchase their own tools.

    I understand that your courses aren’t postponed for the time being but am curious as to how much the course costs and whether you would have any spaces available when it’s all good to kick off again

      Hi Ian,

      Thank you for your enquiry. The Leadlighting Course is $275 for the weekend.
      There will certainly be places available when we reschedule.
