A Leadlight Weekender course is a perfect gift for any occasion. Our 2022 course list will be released in late January 2022 with Leadlight courses expected to run approximately every two months. Using this gift voucher, the recipient will be able to book into any leadlight course listed in 2022.

This very comprehensive course which will allow students to produce a high standard of work & the confidence to continue alone. The aim of the course is to design & manufacture a traditional leadlight panel.

The course will run on Saturday and Sunday from 9.30am to 5pm each day.

Areas covered include: Safety and health aspects of glass work, Glass cutting techniques, Use of art glass and selection principles and Designing for leadlights

Manufacturing Techniques include: Preparing cartoons, Selecting and cutting glass, Leading panels & Soldering techniques and Cementing and Finishing Process.

Cost includes a Fundamentals of Leadlighting book, Glass and Lead.

Students will need to supply or purchase their own tools. We sell a Leadlight Starter Kits at a discounted price for students, which contains all of the tools you need to get you started.
