This is a very special mould to make a large and deep bowl with a wide solid base. A typical serving dish for salads, deserts and other foods. Instead of cutting the glass round try a square piece or a piece with an irregular outline. A smaller circle will result in a more shallow dish, e.g. soup bowl etc.
