The Papyros kiln paper is remarkably robust and I can get two or even three firings before it needs to be replaced. By cooling the kiln to room temperature then lifting the glass verically away from the shelf it is possible to remove the glass without tearing the paper. The slighly thicker paper is also easier to clean up than shelf wash or Thinfire.
