Most of our classes are designed for beginners and our instructors will guide students through cutting glass to creating a beautiful custom piece of art. In our classroom, you will have access to all the tools of the trade and detailed instructions on how to use each.

Glass on Glass Mosaics

| $180.00In this new and exciting course, students will learn how to Mosaic using pieces of glass, bonded to a glass base. Glass on glass mosaicing is a fantastic way to create “stained glass” looking artwork without lead or soldering. The use of transparent glass allows for light to refract glorious colours, while the grout creates solid lines that render the glass pieces even more brightly.
In this course, students will create a 30cm x 30cm glass mosaic panel with mirrored glass as the focal point, and will learn each stage of glass mosaicing from glass cutting, to assembly and grouting. On completion of the course, students will be able to mosaic onto almost any transparent glass surface, whether it is flat or 3-dimensional.
Cost includes materials and hire of tools.
