In this new and exciting course, students will learn how to Mosaic using pieces of glass, bonded to a glass base. Glass on glass mosaicing is a fantastic way to create “stained glass” looking artwork without lead or soldering. The use of transparent glass allows for light to refract glorious colours, while the grout creates solid lines that render the glass pieces even more brightly.

In this course, students will create a 20cm x 20cm glass panel and will learn each stage of glass mosaicing from glass cutting, to assembly and grouting.  On completion of the course, students will be able to mosaic onto almost any transparent glass surface, whether it is flat or 3-dimensional. Each student will also receive a free glass tealight candle holder to mosaic onto at home!

Cost includes materials and hire of tools.
