This course is run by John Dornan, an experienced Leadlighter, with over twenty years experience. This very comprehensive course which will allow students to produce a high standard of work & the confidence to continue alone. The aim of the course is to design & manufacture a traditional leadlight panel.

The course will run on Saturday and Sunday from 9.30am to 5pm each day.

Areas covered include: Safety and health aspects of glass work, Glass cutting techniques, Use of art glass and selection principles and Designing for leadlights

Manufacturing Techniques include: Preparing cartoons, Selecting and cutting glass, Leading panels & Soldering techniques and Cementing and Finishing Process.

Cost includes a Fundamentals of Leadlighting book, Glass and Lead.

Students will need to supply or purchase their own tools.
