Most of our classes are designed for beginners and our instructors will guide students through cutting glass to creating a beautiful custom piece of art. In our classroom, you will have access to all the tools of the trade and detailed instructions on how to use each.

Leadlighting Weekender

| $275.00This very comprehensive course which will allow students to produce a high standard of work & the confidence to continue alone. The aim of the course is to design & manufacture a traditional leadlight panel.
The course will run on Saturday and Sunday from 9.30am to 5pm each day.
Areas covered include: Safety and health aspects of glass work, Glass cutting techniques, Use of art glass and selection principles and Designing for leadlights
Manufacturing Techniques include: Preparing cartoons, Selecting and cutting glass, Leading panels & Soldering techniques and Cementing and Finishing Process.
Cost includes a Fundamentals of Leadlighting book, Glass and Lead.
Students will need to supply or purchase their own tools. We sell a Leadlight Starter Kits at a discounted price for students, which contains all of the tools you need to get you started.
