Have you been thinking about starting glass art but don’t know where to begin? Try one of our glass art workshops with an experienced glass artists to find out all the tips and tricks you need to begin.
Most of our classes are designed for beginners and our instructors will guide students through cutting glass to creating a beautiful custom piece of art. In our classroom, you will have access to all the tools of the trade and detailed instructions on how to use each.
2025 WORKSHOPS
Vitrigraph and Murrine Course FULL
12 September, 2020 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
In this exciting 3 hour course students will learn the technique of making their own stringers, canes, murrine and interesting components from extruding hot glass directly from the kiln. Students will team up in pairs and discover how to set up glass in the crucible before placing it in the Vitrigraph kiln.
Each student will be able to take home what they pull from the kiln, to use within their own glass projects.
Course costs include materials, kiln firing and hire of tools.
