This lovely kiln formed art installation is a harmonious blend of art and functionality. 🌅🏖️ It was designed by Claire and Ian for a private home close to the beach.

Measuring 100mm x 2700mm, it fills a blank outdoor wall with an abstract depiction of a sunset beach scene. But it doesn’t stop there! A stainless-steel clock mechanism adds functionality, allowing the client to track time from their swimming pool.

The piece features custom-textured, 10mm, toughened float glass with the intricate Oceanside 96 component details laminated to the surface. Its weight of approximately 70KG posed a challenge during installation but all ended well. 💪🏻
