This window depicting the resurrection is 2400m high and 4800mm wide and was needed to remove the glare of the morning sun that was stopping the priest from being able to see the congregation.
We chose opalescent streaky glass for the background so it would glow, Lamberts antique glass for the figures, varying dark blue transparent glass and dichroic coated faceted jewels for the lower end sections.
The workshop team spent three days 6m up on scaffold modifying the frames and fitting the stained glass. Everyone that came to visit whilst we were installing was thrilled with the result and so were we.
