Here at Perth Art Glass, we were commissioned to create an entry panel for an amazing home built into the side of a hill in Darlington. Above the hand carved, timber door was an opening that was covered with corrugated plastic. We aimed to put something up that was just a little bit better.

Working on this job was a treat. The client gave the design team the freedom to create something that they were inspired to create, and with a loose brief regarding the colour, we were able to make something that not only looked amazing but was a pleasure to create.

Hand-made rondels swirled by hand at molten temperatures, uniquely textured slumped glass, optical lenses and crytal clear antique style glass were some of the components we made here at Perth Art Glass. This window is an expression of both our artistic vision and our commitment to the craft.

From paper to the complex installation, Perth Art Glass was proud to be tasked with creating a panel of such impact and scale.
