Our Services

In The Studio

All our bespoke art glass projects are created by a team of professionals in our O’Connor workshop. With one of the largest glass kilns in Australia for the production of Custom Textured Glass (Slumped glass), Perth Art Glass enables the client to design functional pieces of toughened Architectural Art Glass such as screening, partitions & frameless shower screens.

From Concept to Completion

Colonial Stained Glass Pty Ltd was established in 1983 by Ian Dixon, as a leadlight manufacturing studio. Within four years of operation the business grew to become one of Perth’s leading studios. Frustration due to lack of available materials and no new innovation in Perth led to Colonial Stained Glass becoming a self-sufficient supplier, manufacturer and creator of Art Glass products. This enabled Ian and his staff to facilitate and develop fresh ideas for the Stained Glass Industry.

Testimonials

We are thrilled at the result and believe we possess a unique work of art that is as individualistic as it is original. the final fit out with its stainless steel framework and tinted glass with subtle flecks of  colour that reference the Perry Lakes environment brought the carefully planned project to its conclusion. We enjoyed working with Ian on the design factors and were reassured by the quiet confidence and attention to detail.

Ronald and Margaret Banks, Perry Lakes

I think the end result is spectacular and everything we had hoped for. It brings to life the whole of the west end of the church and with this complete, we can satisfy ourselves that we have put the building in good shape for the future, and have added significantly to its beauty. We would like to personally thank you and your team at Perth Art Glass for your professional approach, for the quality of your workmanship and also for the pleasure of working with you on this project.

Peter and Caroline Nixon, St. James Anglican Church Moora

Thank you for the fantastic job you and your team did on my beloved Mira’s. I ended up hanging all three! It was a very happy day to finally see them up again after 14 years in storage. Many, many thanks!

The Art Faculty, Seton Catholic College

We continue to be delighted by our slumped glass panel. Today, for instance, being cloudy and rainy, it is just beautiful, a completely different picture. Thank you, we just love it. A perfect job
